The Challenge
J.C. Morvino had an existing Wix site that was functional but generic — it looked like thousands of other author sites and did not reflect the atmospheric, cinematic quality of her crime fiction writing. With her debut novel Tangled Justice launching in May 2026, she needed a site that matched the prestige of her work.
The Approach
We designed a dark, cinematic theme inspired by prestige crime fiction — deep navy backgrounds, gold accents, and Cormorant Garamond serif typography that feels literary and authoritative. The site was built in Next.js 16 with Framer Motion for scroll animations.
